From 1st May, the How to Rent guide will be removed from Document Serving in relation to English-located properties, within Inventory Hive
This change follows confirmation that the How to Rent guide is being officially retired, meaning it is no longer a required document for landlords and letting agents to serve to tenants at the start of a tenancy.
What does this mean for you?
The How to Rent guide will no longer be automatically attached to the Document Serving section on inventory and check-in reports.
You won’t need to include it when issuing tenancy documentation going forward.
All other required compliance documents will remain unaffected.
We’re making this update to ensure Inventory Hive continues to reflect current legislation and best practice, helping you stay compliant without unnecessary admin.
