The session offers a clear introduction to inventories and check-ins, with a step-by-step overview of the process. It includes best practice guidance, practical tips, and examples for handling different situations. You will also learn about the vocabulary and terminology that help create a strong report, as well as a checklist explaining what to include and why each element is important.

Mid-Term Visits and End of Tenancy Check-Out Course

You can now join us for our CPD-accredited training on mid-term visits and the end-of-tenancy checkout process, hosted by industry expert Tim Wakelin in conjunction with Inventory Hive. This is the second of two on-demand sessions.

The session starts with an overview of mid-term visits, covering the legal and regulatory responsibilities involved, as well as the practical steps needed to conduct a visit confidently. The training then examines best practices for producing mid-term visit reports and check-out reports, along with clear guidance on how inventory, check-in, and check-out reports are utilised by adjudicators when reviewing deposit deductions.

You will also learn about key adjudication principles such as fair wear and tear and betterment, and how these concepts should influence the way reports are written.

This course provides 2 CPD hours.
