Software Update - v.1.15.2 - New 360° cameras supported

The first software update of the new year sees a couple of changes, the headline of which is the integration of new 360° camera models from Insta360.

New Camera Models

We are pleased to announce that the latest model from Insta360 - the X4 - is now supported by our in-app integration. The X4 is a robust and high-specification model, with a longer battery life, which is perfect if you have lots of reports booked.

We are also pleased to announce the re-introduction of the ONE X2 model from Insta360 which is again compatible with our in-app integration following some changes to the device firmware.

As part of the integration work, we have also refreshed the integration process to make it more streamlined, allowing easier access to the brightness options for compatible camera models.

Tenant Feedback Display

We have amended the format of the PDF report where tenant feedback and photographic evidence is present. The labels and timestamps remain unchanged, but where a report features tenant-uploaded evidence, the images are separated to a 'Tenant Feedback' section under the item, so there is a clear separation between the tenant and inspector images.

Likewise, in comparison reports, any tenant images as well as feedback from the source report will display in the item screen within the app, in a read only format, giving greater information when creating check-out reports, including in offline mode.

App Update Required – PLEASE READ

Our browser version updates have been pushed-live already – so there’s no action required there (happens automatically). An update is required to install the latest features on your iOS or Android devices though, which can be accessed here for convenience: iOS (Apple) Appstore found here and; Android Google Playstore found here.

Please note that due to the nature of the changes to the software, all users will be required to update the app in order to continue to use the app. Please ensure that you update your app version (if auto-updates are not installed on your device) otherwise you will not be able to log back into the software via the app.
