Our latest software update has just been released and we continuing to enhance and refine the software for you, our users. Here are some of the highlights of the changes that have been introduced with this latest release.

Snapshot Reports

We have listened to feedback and introduced 'snapshot' report options. You are now able to create a sharelink, download a PDF or email a report directly from your account where a report is in any status, not just when it is completed. So if you wish to share a copy of a report with a landlord before submitting it to the tenant for their feedback, we have designed the snapshot report which allows full download of 'incomplete' reports which contain a disclaimer advising that this is a 'snapshot' of the current status of the report, the contents of which could change until the report is formally completed.

Copying Compliance Flagged Items

We have made a change to the process when creating a new report by copying the contents of an existing report, which relates to any compliance-flagged items (such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms). We have removed any compliance-flagged items from the copying process as best practice, making the inspector completing the report to specifically add content to these sections.

This change has been made as best practice as it is imperative that all smoke, fire and carbon monoxide alarms are inspected and reported on at every property inspection to comply with relevant legislation. The existing process has not changed in respect of the use of master reports.

New Fixflo Settings

For those customers who take advantage of our long-established integration with Fixflo, we have added new settings to the Fixflo credentials set-up, which allows customers to have more control over where the data from Inventory Hive is directed to when exported to Fixflo.
